On Friday, July 22, Selena Gomez celebrated turning 30 years old with her best friend, Taylor Swift.
And with a few cute pictures of the two longtime friends cuddling up at their table, the birthday girl herself gave her 338 million Instagram fans and followers a peek at her birthday supper.
According to Just Jared, the Spring Breakers star wore a classy white dress to dinner with Taylor at the renowned Japanese restaurant Nobu in Malibu and during a visit to the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga.
In one picture, Swift gave a thumbs up and the two pop stars laughed while the former Disney star sat with a wrapped gift on her lap.
Gomez exclaimed, “30, nerdy and worthy,” in the post.
In a another Instagram photo, Gomez is seen wrapping her left arm around Swift’s neck while the Evermore actress indicates her friend’s 30th birthday by raising one hand to three fingers and the other to a zero.
To top it off, Swift played along with a shocked expression on her face, making the birthday girl smile.
Swift repeated the ‘three’ and ‘zero’ gesture with her hands in a third picture, her expression still astonished. The camera angle was brought closer to the dynamic pair.
With regard to their attire for the joyous occasion, the two women—who have been friends for over 14 years—also went all out.
Gomez had a beautiful appearance in a white minidress with a bell-shaped pattern and delicate frills.
In addition, she wore a pair of black heels and had her raven hair pulled back off her face into a bun, save for a few strands that hung about her face.
Swift, 32, opted for a more rustic look, dressing in a dress with a v-neckline and a brown pattern.
She chose to flaunt her fringe up front while pulling her blonde locks back into a bun, just like her stylish friend.
An attendee at the birthday meal told Just Jared, “Selena and Taylor looked so cute together celebrating.”
The Heart Wants What It Wants star talked candidly about turning thirty in a recent interview.
“I am content with my age,” she stated to The Hollywood Reporter. “I feel so relieved that my tolerance for any form of discomfort—typically disrespect or whatever, even just needless stuff—is no longer controlling me.”
“My emotions are mine and I am allowed to feel them however I want to feel them,” the Grand Prairie, Texas, native continued. But the reason I’m throwing a party is that I thought, “You know what? Since my pals back home are all married and have children, I’m just going to host a party for myself.”
