Selena Gomez stated that her long-awaited EP in Spanish will be out on March 12. It’s called Revelación.

The singer, who is 28 years old, just put out her first song, De Una Vez. That song will go with Baila Conmigo, which comes out on January 29.

For more than ten years, Gomez had been hinting at the idea. On Thursday, she finally confirmed it on social media: ” Revalación, my first EP in Spanish, comes out March 12. You can pre-order it tomorrow at 9 p.m. PT.

She also shared on Twitter the first look at the album’s cover and a picture that goes with it, both of which can only be bought at Target. The cover and poster show her wearing all black and a huge flower crown.

In 2011, she tweeted the first thing about the project: “Can’t wait for y’all to hear the Spanish record;) it sounds so cool.”

Fans thought the long-awaited project was finally coming together when paintings started showing up in Sayulita, Mexico, in the middle of January. The project’s creators had been quiet about it for years.

The week she released De Una Vez and teased Baila Conmigo with Rauw Alejandro and Tainy, fans took to Twitter to share pictures of the colourful paintings that were being painted.

In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on January 11, she seemed to confirm the record before it was officially announced on Wednesday:

Work on a Spanish project has been something I’ve wanted to do for 10 years because I’m so proud of my background and I really wanted this to happen.

‘I feel like it’s the right timing,’ she said. Even though the world is divided, Latin music makes people all over the world feel something, you know?
