They even know how to comfort each other when one of them is unfortunately sick. On the BoredPanda site, a user shared: “My dog has terminal cancer. I noticed that he and the cat in the house hug each other more when he is in pain”.
John Bradshaw – an animal behavior expert, said conflicts that arise between dogs and cats are often because they perceive the world differently.
“The cat wanted to leave, the dog thought the cat was inviting him to join a game, so there was a chase without both sides understanding what the other’s motive was,” Bradshaw explained.
