Singer Taylor Swift had two shows in Madrid, Spain on May 29 and 30, with the participation of tens of thousands of fans. This is the star’s first performance at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in the Spanish capital.
However, this event is facing opposition from local people because of the noise. They said they would seek legal measures to prevent similar activities in the future. At the May 29 show, the complaint’s experts recorded a sound level of 80 decibels, far exceeding the 53 decibels allowed by the Madrid city government.

During a press conference on May 30, Madrid city hall spokeswoman Inmaculada Sanz said the government had received a total of 25 complaints after Taylor Swift’s concert on May 29. City Hall emphasized the need to reevaluate sound indicators to determine whether they exceed allowable levels or not.
City Hall has also issued fines for music events that have previously been determined to exceed noise limits. The promoter of Taylor Swift’s concert in Madrid has not yet responded to the above information.
Taylor Swift’s two concerts on May 29 and 30 are expected to help increase income for the Spanish capital, while the city is having to pay off a debt of 1.2 billion euros.
